Iranian female Alysh wrestlers rank first in Turkey

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian female Alysh wrestlers came first in the 4th World Nomad Games which was held in Bursa, Turkey.

The Iranian team with three gold, three silver and five bronze medals ranked first in the classic category.

In men’s category, Iranian wrestlers received one silver and three bronze medals.

Alysh is an upright wrestling style. Competitors wear trousers, jackets and belts, and must hold on to their opponents' belts at all times.
